Just Say NO!

One of the hardest financial skills you'll ever learn has nothing to do with investing.

It's learning to say no.

No to the impulse purchase. No to keeping up with people who aren't paying your bills. No to the vacation you haven't earned yet. No to the lifestyle that's stealing your future. Delaying gratification.

In The Rich Recipe, I say that every financial decision is a trade.

When you buy one thing... you're choosing not to buy something else.

That $200 pair of shoes? It could've been your first investment. That luxury car payment? It could've been capital for your business. That expensive date night weekend? It could've been ad dollars to increase your revenue.

The wealthy don't say no because they don't have money.

They say no because they have a vision that's bigger than temporary satisfaction.

Every "no" today creates a bigger "yes" tomorrow.

You have the money to build wealth, you just don't have the proper priorities to do it correctly.

So the question isn't whether you can afford it. The question is: What is it costing your future?

Build the discipline now, and eventually your money will buy you what most people never get...

Options.

Recipe Reflections

  1. What is one financial "yes" I've been saying that I know should become a "no"?

  2. If I delayed one unnecessary purchase this month, where could I invest that money to move me one step closer to financial freedom?

The rich have a recipe and this is a key ingredient.
